So… this week’s weight loss is brought to you by hurricane Florence. Honestly, I was probably down close to 10 pounds at one point. When I weighed myself last Wednesday (the day we evacuated up to VA) I was at 229 due to not eating much of anything for days on end due to storm-related anxiety. It was another day or so before I could make myself start eating again (at which point, allowed myself to eat whatever the hell I wanted). Oddly, even then I didn’t really want much (even my Salted Caramel Oreos were kind of meh). Anyway, after a few days of random junk eating (but at least I was eating – so that counts for something) I was back up to 231, but again, not complaining. As much as I want to lose weight as quickly as possible, starving myself is not part of the plan. At least now that I’m back home (and the storm has passed), I can get back on a more regular eating schedule.

Weekly Weigh-In: Week 72

Total Weight Lost: 152 pounds

I was pretty laid-back about my eating this week, and also had an event on Tuesday where I ate ALL THE CAKE. But it was, like, mini-sampler bites (of various different types) so not as horrible as it seems,. Which is probably why I managed to maintain this week, rather than gaining anything. So, overall I’m pretty happy.

My HealthyWage goal was to hit 240 pounds by the middle of September. I’m a month early, so that’s good!! Now to just maintain it for at least a month. XD

I mean, obviously, I’m not stopping now, but I know I have an event on Tuesday that will have me eating lots of yummy, but awfully high calorie foods. But at least I’ll still have a few more weeks to work it back out.

Honestly was a little surprised that I dropped as much as I did this week (actually saw the underside of 240 at one point even). Though a lot of it is probably still the water weight from nomming as much as I did last month. So not going to complain, that’s for sure.

Total Weight Lost: 140 pounds

So… I’ve been taking a bit of a break. As I stated before, my dad was in town, which had me off-game anyways, but then we had hubby and the youngest’s birthdays, plus another event. I just decided rather than drive myself nuts trying to navigate it all, I’d just take a breather and get back to it on Monday when everything was done.

I hate that anytime I eat above my calorie goals I gain weight – even when I’m still eating in what should be a “maintenance” range (at least according to various calculators). I mean, I know it’s not exact science, but still.. frustrating.

Total Weight Lost: 142 pounds

My dad is in town this week, and we typically eat out a lot when he’s here, so the weight gain is not unexpected. He’s still in town for another couple days as well, so don’t imagine this week will be much better. But that’s just the way it goes sometimes.

I know it’s mostly water weight though, so as soon as I buckle back down it will drop off. So not sweatin’ it for now.

I wasn’t very hungry this week. Not sure if it’s just the fact that I know I needed to get to 246 pounds for my one HW challenge that gave me the extra motivation or what, but food just didn’t interest me much this week at all. Hubby even ordered pizza one day and it didn’t even screw up my goals, because even though it was later in the evening, I hadn’t eaten much and still had plenty of calories to spare. I think a lot of it is the heat though. As soon as summer kicks in full-time, my appetite drops. But definitely not complaining here, that’s for sure.

Also… Salted Caramel Oreo Thins!! YUM!
